Toyota draw importance to safety in the workplace

In April of 2018, Toyota Material Handling UK will be revealing a collection of new machinery, including hand pallet trucks, powered pallet trucks, and towing tractors. These aim at reducing injuries in the manual handling industry, at a Health and Safety event located in Birmingham.

They have also vowed to support visitors by providing free health and safety resources.

These will include forklift safety guides, best practices posters, along with manual handling guides. Visitors will be able to speak with Toyota professionals regarding their manual handling routines and advise them on the best machinery for their workplace.

Toyota will be specifically funding the ‘Safer Logistics’ seminar, here, those part of the talk will be drawing importance to health and safety in the workplace, and will discuss how certain machinery is able to help companies become considerably safer and more efficient.

“At Toyota we are focused on providing not only the safest trucks for our customers, but also industry leading advice and support.

We are constantly looking at new and innovative solutions to increase safety in materials handling operations and we’re so glad that shows such as The Health and Safety Event provide us with a platform where we can showcase these.”

Said Toyota’s Commercial Director, Jon Buckley.
