Clay Drain Cover

A high performing and cost effective method of covering uneven drains and preventing spilt fluids entering the drainage system. These clay drain covers are flexible and fit over any surface, forming a seal to protect the drain. Our clay drain covers are treated with a formula which prevents mould growth and anti-freeze properties, ensuring they provide the highest form of protection for your drains. The clay cover remains flexible down to -20c, its non toxic and bio inert. Resistant to oil, water and most chemicals.

This product gives 100% seal even on rough surfaces, when installed correctly.

Simply open you clay drain cover, remove the plastic cover from the underside,  and place over the drain. Apply pressure to the edge of the clay drain cover to form a seal with the cover and the floor surface. Once you have stopped your spill and the liquid has pooled over the drain cover, used absorbents suitable for the liquid spill to clean up the spill. Once you are happy the fluid has been cleaned you can remove the clay drain cover and dispose of with the used absorbents in a hazardous waste bag.

We recommend storing these clay drain covers in a highly visible cover holder, near to any drains on site, so they are immediately available in an emergency, while also offering some protection from extreme weather conditions. We also recommend the use of a scrapper for removal of the clay drain cover.

As these drain covers are made from clay, they do have a use by date printed onto the packaging. This is to ensure the clay remains effective and hasnt dried out, preventing effective use.
